Sheffield Half Marathon

Join in this incredible half marathon, with fast city centre routes along the picturesque backdrop of this vibrant, green, historically termed "Steel City" in the south-west of Yorkshire you'll be sure to remember this experience and leave with a burgeoning desire to return. All of this whilst fundraising to help communities realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.

The Event

  • Stunning scenic route with views of the Peak Disctrict​
  • Iconic moments along the race feature landmarks such as Eccy Road, Encliffe Park, Sheffield Tigers Rugby Club, Rininglow and the Town Hall​
  • Varied terrain and the chance to take on the Peaks Challenge with a 'triple test' in a timed hill climb
  • ​Various cheer points for supporters who can have a fantastic view of the Peak landscapes
  • Entertainment along the way
  • Chip timing included for runners
  • Finishers medal and goody bag

These challenges are in aid of the award-winning water charity Dig Deep. Through fundraising for your challenge, not only will you reduce the direct cost of your run, you will transform the lives of thousands of people in East Africa by helping them to realise their right to clean water.
