Top tips for promoting your challenge online

1) Share everywhere! Make the most of all your online networks - let everyone know about the challenge you’re taking on, and the incredible cause you’re fundraising for. Post on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn; share the link to your fundraising page in group chats; and directly message/email anyone who may be interested. Check out the templates below for examples on how to announce your challenge!

2) Post consistently. The ‘Rule of 7’ in marketing states that a prospective customer needs to encounter a brand’s message at least seven times before they take action. When you apply this to your fundraising, it means you may need to post several times before people follow through and donate

3) Switch it up. Switch up how you post about the challenge to keep your followers engaged. Post regular updates, celebrate milestones, share photos from fundraising events and remember to thank everyone who has donated. Sharing updates about your training for your challenge is also a great way to show your commitment and encourage some donations!
